List Of 18 Hungerbased Eating Affirmations
My food choices are very intelligent choices. I know when it is a good time to give my body some food, and I know how to do other things, when food is not the answer.
My food intake is a personal choice, and I really don't follow any particular health guru on every matter. I take nutritional guidelines under advisement, and decide what is best for me right now.
I like the idea that my eating times and eating quantities, are easily and comfortably guided by how much food I bring home from the store, and which foods I bring into the house. I make these decisions w/ a cool head & a cool heart!
I genuinely enjoy being a person who can divide my evening up in the blocks of time, and break all old patterns of filling time with food and eating.
The food that I like to choose for myself is healthy, natural and calorie dilute. I really know how to eat a healthy and filling meal, and then move on to another task or activity.
I enjoy feeling really good about allowing my hunger to grow, before partaking in dinner prep for the evening.
I like the idea that I can be on the beets & broccoli plan as my favorite afternoon snack foods.
It makes me happy to think that I really don't have to keep large quantities of food in the house, if I worry that I would go overboard on those foods.
I am happy with the idea that I can easily and comfortably wean myself off the behaviors of eating too much in the evenings as a boredom-coping mechanism. I can learn far better patterns!
It is really becoming quite easy for me, to eat calorie dilute foods frequently and pleasurably. I eat beets and broccoli, and I enjoy eating raw carrots, and raw bell peppers.
It is fun for me to think about having a week or so under my belt, as far as doing well at hunger-based eating, and being well-established in my new habits. This feels good to have such success!
I notice how good it feels to see many possibilies for myself that don't include any boredom eating. Many, many ways to be unaddicted!
My health is my strength. I have a lean body, and I have a lot of wonderful energy. My energy is positive, and I enjoy eating a lot of leafy greens each week.
This is the first time in my life that I have eaten a steady diet of leafy greens, and I really do find that it's nourishing and satiating.
I don't really need to convince anyone else that what I'm doing and how I'm eating, is good for my figure. The outcomes are obvious. Maybe there are other ways to be lean and sexy, but I have found one reliable way, and I feel good about that.
My heart is happy and I am postioning myself to be confident at anything I pursue -- confident as a runner, confident as a dancer, confident as a sexual partner, confident in any outfit. You name it!
I take responsibility for my food choices, and I know that the number on the scale has everything to do with how much and how often I eat.
I fill my plate with love, and I honor my body's needs in what and how I eat. I give my body healthy and nutrient-rich foods, and abstain from eating extra portions or extra meals that would only burden my digestion and weigh me down with extra mass.
